THE AULD HOOSE, MORE THAN A PUB
A traditional bar, which has been a local gathering place for generations. Old world feel, but to the modern standard. We added our Cadzow Suite in 1994, a great venue for any occasion.
Our Cadzow Suite is available 7 days a week and can accommodate weddings and functions for up to 180 guests. Full catering can be provided if required.
We also have all live sports shown on our many big screens throughout the public bar, as well as our giant projector screen in the function suite for larger sporting events.
The Auld Hoose is also home to the regional Nuts Poker League and hosts regular poker nights with the winners going through to regional and national finals.
SAME OLD PLACES, SAME OLD FACES
The Auld Hoose is an old fashioned bar where folk come to meet up with pals and family. The staff has stayed pretty constant over the years with ‘Big Soldier” aka Alex Forsyth our most experienced pourer of pints for almost 30 years!
There’s no karaoke or live music. Too much of a “talkin’ shop” for any o’ that. Plenty to talk about though, if you’ve a passing interest in sport, especially if it involves horses, fitba or the wee round ba’ that drives folk mad!
But, if you’re looking for a party, our Cadzow Suite is the place. Whatever the celebration!
“The Log Cabin” is the sign above the door, but known by everyone locally as “The Loggie”. It has been run by the Reilly family since 1980 and is more than just a pub. Although a pub foremost. The Loggie is a great space with great regulars. A couple of pints and a bit of craic with your mates is what you’ll always find at the Loggie.
