Aspirare Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT Service Desk professional experienced in 1st and 2nd line support for our client with global reach. This is a long term contract opportunity which will lead to full time employment after successful probation period for the right candidate.
IT service desk Candidates will hold previous experience in a helpdesk or service desk environment handling inbound support calls via email and telephone with a strong understanding of following policies and procedures from an administration view point.
1st and 2nd line service desk experience is essential as is a professional telephone manner and a can do attitude.
As IT Service Desk professional. Technical knowledge of Windows Desktops and Laptops, MS Office, Outlook, Networking, Printers, and Smartphones is a requirement of the role with hands on Administration of Active Directory, Troubleshooting Networking issues, Use DOS commands via Command Prompt Troubleshoot Virus and Malware issues, Add/Remove Printers and Hardware devices. Use Windows Event Log for troubleshooting system and application issues, Troubleshoot Outlook client profile and connection issues, Apply OS and software images onto new machines.
This IT Service Desk role is a permanent basis after probation.
